The foundation focuses on educational practice in schools and teacher training, reflecting real outcomes of the ongoing debate about European and World citizenship. Particularly, the following questions are important:
Ø What role schools and teacher training should play in the debate on European and World Citizenship in order to transform their current practices into one which supports students’ active attitude towards Europe, the World and its contemporary challenges?
Ø How should schools and teacher training become open communities of learning, embracing different values, concepts and beliefs as an enrichment for teachers, teachers trainers, management and all pupils and students?
Ø And last, but not least, in what way schools and teacher training should implement critical (border) pedagogy for enhancing a deeper intercultural perspective on issues of social cohesion and conflict in society?
All three questions are translations of the foundation’s general objectives.
